The world famous Belgian researcher Edward Carmeliet is paying a visit to Szeged between 26-28 September 2017. Dr. Carmeliet – who’s main research area is the electrophysiology of heart cells – will hold a lecture with title ’From Bernstein’s rheotome to Ling’s microelectrode; A short history of electrophysiology’. Following his lecture the professor is attending an exclusive meeting with the Szent-Györgyi Students of the Szeged Scientist Academy.
